Board certified OB GYN, Dr Mary Vanko, trained at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine.
Dr. Vanko's extensive training in high risk pregnancy helps ensure healthy outcomes for both mother and baby.
Her training allows her to deliver twins vaginally and limit unneccessary Cesarean sections by vaginal breach extraction of a second twin.
Her special expertise in vaginal surgery allows for vaginal hysterectomy, pelvic floor prolapse repair, placement of transvaginal urinary slings, and minimally invasive hysteroscopic and laproscopic gynecologic surgery.

Founded in 2001, Women's Care Associates is designed to be a complete womens care center.
My patients are active participants in their healthcare. I provide personalized healthcare throughout a woman's life, and also provide complete OBGYN care including delivery services as well as primary care services for women. Preventative services are necessary for good health. Our office also provides medically supervised weight loss services. As a trained surgeon, when a patient needs surgery, I provide the most up-to-date minimally invasive techniques and I use the newest technology to achieve the best outcomes
My training in vaginal surgery allows me to offer you many other options that other physicians will not discuss. Generally, vaginal surgery offers the quickest recovery. Most importantly, you can count on me to offer you all the options available to you. You have the right to know what your problem is and all of the treatments, including medical treatment, interventional radiology, as well as surgical treatment.
